I love LAg guitars..ok, the old ones.
A long time ago, I was looking for new guitar, and I was all about tone at that point.. (of course, I still am)
I had some money to spend and an opened mind so..I was not rigid about brands.
Suddenly I came across a new brand..LAG.. and it was not a cheap guitar..hand made, good sounding, in fact excellent sounding, so..with some hesitations I ended up buying the guitar. It was a LAG ROXANNE FLOYD.
It served me well...both live and in studio situations. But nowdays I moved on and I'm not using floyd rose any more, plus, my sound changed quite a bit so my Lag is sleeping on the hardcase for too long, and it brakes my heart seeing this guitar unused..so I decided to sell it to someone who likes tone and floyd rose..
I lost track of this brand since the year I bought the guitar..and for my surprise, this brand started making some inferior instruments that completely ruined the resale value of this instruments, I mean, It is hard enough trying to sell a guitar that is not from a well known brand like Fender or Gibson..but its worst now that Lag decided to sell inferior guitars under the same brand, and worst, under the same model name.. for ridiculous low price..300eur new? thanks a lot LAG!!.
Now I'm having a very hard time selling this fabulous guitar..The resale value is ridiculously low because of all this.. and the buyers don't waste time searching, they see a Lag Roxanne as a Lag Roxane. I paid 1200eur for mine and now I'm supposed to sell it for what? 300eur?..or less?..
Any one here feel the same?.. do you know where can I try to sell it for a decent price?..
Shame on you Lag. It's the last time I risk my money on a new brand...
