Hi All,
I bought this guitar (in France) two days ago, and I'd like to lower the action...
I could ask the seller to do it, but I'd prefer to do it myself.
I'm wondering what is a reasonable string height, how much I can take off the bridge, can I lower the nut (it appears fixed, though I haven't removed the strings), etc...?
I've looked on-line but can find no email address for LAG themselves, does anyone have one?
Any/all info appreciated,
Flameproof

I think you should try it bit by bit, with the nylon stringed guitars its hard, when lowered too much it will makte too many fret noise so i would say try a little bit by bit

Hi This may be a problem not only on nylon stringed acoustics, but steel stringed four season guitars. I bought a summer dreadnought and the first thing I set about was lowering the action, as it was well above 5/32nds, much too high!! I got the Bass "E"string down to below 4/32nds above the 12th fret, and likewise the other five without any fret buzz. This was done with great care as I had to loosen and tighten the strings time and time again while shaping the bone saddle. suffice to say "I can't put the guitar down, I love it and the sound is great, but I may try to lower the action just a fraction more....Hope I,m not pushing my luck"?
